Also open to suggestions.ĭay 2 Edit- These settings are honestly pretty good, but still having issues with eyestrain after two months ownership. I'll give these a shot over the next few weeks.īeen having eyestrain with the HF A03 model, using roughly 50-60 brightness and contrast - I've been changing settings every once in a while. So here are my settings: For those who prefer slightly warmer picture style with white balance set at 5500K.įor those who prefer everything perfect and want the "how it should be done" settings, here they are, with white balance set to 6500K and brightness level set to 120cd/m2. Colors are no more dull, contrast is there and to be honest, i personally couldn't tell the difference between AW2518HF and the 8 bit IPS panel standing next to it. So, i tried to use suggested settings and have to say, i wasn't pleased with the results.Picture on screen had a very strong purple tint and to my eye, that is not what i'd call propercly calibrated. So, i decided to calibrate the monitor myself, went to the store and got Spyder 4 Elite Calibration device. The result is gorgeus.
